Volunteers Needed to Help Low-Income Flood Victims
Over the past few months, six Oregon counties have
been declared federal disaster areas. The Oregon New
Lawyers Division (ONLD) is working with the ABA Young
Lawyers Division and FEMA to provide legal assistance
to low-income victims of this disaster.
Most of the legal assistance is currently centered
on landlord-tenant disputes, insured’s property
claim disputes with insurers, unemployment, FEMA, small
business administration issues and replacement of legal
documents.
If you are willing to provide pro bono services for
people with a desperate need in Columbia, Clatsop,
Polk, Tillamook, Yamhill or Washington counties, please fill out the registration form found here and fax it in to the included number. |

are fully paid or partially subsidized by the AAP assessment.
